The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia joins the Supply Chain competition, launched by Makeitalia.
On Tuesday 28 June 2022, the students of the Master’s Degree Course in Management Engineering challenged each other to the Supply Chain Game, during the Integrated Logistic Systems course of Professor Rita Gamberini.
The University, therefore, joins the race, which has already begun, towards the Finals September 21-22, the final tournament of the Makeitalia Supply Chain Challenge in which the best teams of the participating Italian universities will compete to win the title of national champions.
The protagonists of the day of June 28 showed a great appreciation for the experience, considering the Game an excellent tool to apply the knowledge acquired during the university years and a precious opportunity to try their hand at something practical and more concrete.
Benedetta Ferrari, one of the students involved in the game, commented: “Beyond the theory studied in the various university courses, we were able to touch real situations – albeit simplified – and appreciate the actual complexity of managing the logistics chain. It was very interesting and, in my opinion, this experience also gives many food for thought on the strategies chosen. Even from mistakes you learn a lot “.
We thank the students of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia who took part in the challenge and to Professor Rita Gamberini!
The race towards the final phase of the event continues.. which team will be the absolute winner of the first edition of the Makeitalia Supply Chain Challenge?
