Modena, 2 July 2024 – Makeitalia press release. The management of its customers’ supply chains consolidates the growth of Makeitalia, a Modena-based company that is a point of reference for companies in Supply Chain Management, which concludes the year 2023 with a turnover of 18.2 million euros (+50% compared to 2022).
“In addition to consulting and temporary management services, which are growing year after year, we wanted to integrate our services by investing the skills acquired in a completely digitalised Smart Factory, to give support to our customers in the management of purchasing components, including physical handling”, Roberto Ferrari comments (partner of Makeitalia). “Our customer has visibility over the entire process and delegates all purchasing, planning and supplier management activities to us, knowing that they can count on our experience to avoid delays on the assembly lines”.
The last year saw the acquisition of important national companies among its customers, the development of new opportunities abroad, with a view to internationalizing the company, and many projects linked to the digitalisation of the Supply Chain, of which the Smart Factory is a concrete example of this. Another important innovation is the attention to the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) theme, in which Makeitalia has invested both in specific consulting projects, but also internally: a company photovoltaic system, the installation of eco-sustainable equipment in the area production and logistics, social commitment, support for local businesses, attention to gender equality and new governance control systems.
The last year saw also the growth of human capital, the primary resource for the Emilian company. The yar 2023 saw 46 new hires. Makeitalia constantly invests in people, with the aim of promoting and maintaining a positive, productive, inclusive, inspiring, meritocratic and rewarding work environment every day. The company has dedicated particular attention to its employees in relation to the achievement of the 2023 turnover objectives, rewarding its team through the provision of a “welfare reward“, as recognition for the extraordinary results achieved together and as a sign of active participation and aware of all the company strategy.
“We are satisfied with the results achieved thanks to our people, but we are not content. Even in 2024 we will continue to innovate to increase the added value in the activities we provide to our customers”, Roberto Ferrari concludes.
