The qualification period of the First National Championship in the Makeitalia Supply Chain area has ended. From November 2021 to May 2022, it made a stop in the main Italian Universities, from Trento to Cosenza, involving students of the Master’s Degree Courses in Management Engineering.
During these months, the students who took part in the competition, an unprecedented initiative by Makeitalia, have tested themselves in the Supply Chain Game developed by the company, wearing the shoes of a Supply Chain Manager and covering his responsibilities, with the goal of making the best choices to manage a supply chain.
For everyone, it was a precious opportunity to touch, in practice, the field of Supply Chain Management, using the knowledge and skills acquired during their university studies.
Let’s retrace together, in chronological order, the various stages of the first qualification phase: Sapienza University of Rome, University of Calabria – Cosenza, University of Bergamo, Polytechnic of Milan and Turin, University of Naples Parthenope, University of Studies of Parma, Trento, Siena, and then return to the University of Bergamo.
Over 500 students from different universities took part in the initiative.
For each stage of this preliminary phase, a winning team has been elected and thus qualified to access the final phase of the Championship: the Finals 21-22 which will be held on 21 September in Modena.
The final challenge will be, for the participants, an interesting opportunity to get in touch with and discuss with some sponsoring companies of the initiative, as well as an opportunity to earn the title of winners of the first edition of the Makeitalia Supply Chain Challenge.
We would like to thank, once again, all the students of the Master’s Degree Courses involved in the initiative and their Professors.
Now we are running towards the Finals of September 2022!
